BalikGabayan?
BalikGabayan is a digital space where OFW parents and their children can stay emotionally connected, no matter the distance.
Through interactive storybooks with parent–child co-reading versions, guided activities, and gentle motion graphics, it creates meaningful moments that can be shared together. Being apart doesn’t mean growing apart.
BalikGabayan brings families back to each other’s gabay and bayan through story, technology, and heart.
How it Works
A few minutes of reading, a lifetime of closeness. Here’s how it works:
Open a Storybook
Choose an interactive storybook for you and your child. Each story has a version for you and a version for your child, with prompts and activities woven into the narrative.
Start the Adventure Together
Read the story during a call, video chat, or even through messages. You may take turns sharing your parts.
Share the Love
Some activities may invite you and your child to write, draw, or reflect. These can be done using paper, a notebook, or digital tools, whichever feels most comfortable for your family.
